N°1 De Chanel: A New Evolution of Beauty – The Italian Rêve
This coming Spring 2018 is an exciting time for Chanel lovers, as there is not “only” an exceptional 9-shade eyeshadow palette to hoard [see here], but there is also a brand new crew of tinted lip powder and balm duos to play with. Lots of brands experimented with lip pigments throughout 2017, but taking time to perfect the formula played off for Chanel’s Poudre à Lèvres! Chanel Poudre à Lèvres Lip Balm and Powder Duo feature a lip powder pigment and a light transparent balm on a palette format. There are 2 applicators included in the palette, a synthetic flat brush for the lip balm, and a sponge-tipped applicator for buffing in the pigment. Lucia Pica had taken inspiration from the tempera technique of Pompeiian frescoes, and created a product that may be mixed by hand and applied in layers for a fresh kissable effect. There are 3 limited edition shades, each one as covetable as the next. The lip pigments are all matte, and the accompanying balm helps to smoothen lip lines and gives a soft blurred finish.
